Way back in 2005 I had an idea... Initially it was a way to try to encourage more creative writing in the Audio realm by creating a world to play in- a superhero world.
I grew up with comics (still have about 3000 of them in my closet). Comics encouraged me to read, and it helped me shape some ideas about story and dramatic tension earlier on. In a three channel universe (most of those being fuzzy), I had a lot more time to read and consider the possibilities.
While I loved Superman and Batman equally (Yes I'm one of those few people who like BOTH heroes thank-you very much), I also was a huge fan of many others. As I've grown through comics, I could tell there were lots of interesting possibilities to tell stories about the nature of heroism and choice- some of which couldn't be told with the franchises both DC and Marvel had created.
So in considering how to create a genre which could use some audio shorts that folks could get into, it was a no-brainer to make it all about a new comic universe.

Hi Jack. I'm really happy that this project is coming back into the light. I told you I'd submit scripts, so I'm on my way over to the rules page to see what's there, so as I can try not to break too much.
